Soldiers of the Georgia Army National Guard, 48th Brigade, 1st and 2nd Battalion, 121st Infantry Regiment, and the 1st Battalion, 118th Artillery Regiment practice scenarios at Camp Shelby, Mississippi on Friday, May 8, 2009 in preparation for their deployment to Afghanistan. Their mission is to help train the Afghan National Army and Police forces. Foreign nationals and Mississippi locals act as townspeople, police and soldiers during the scenarios.
